Cooking class - empanadas

After a morning of swimming and surfing, we regrouped at school for s cooking class. On today's menu is empanadas with caramel or pineapple. 
First we had to mix the butter and flour. 

Then we rolled the dough and cut out circles. 



And we rolled out the dough more thinly. 

Then we filled with pineapple jam. 

Or caramel filling. 



Folded them in half and closed them with fork impressions. 

Ready to go in the oven. 

The best part, of course, is eating the empanadas.
